Marriage Fixer Upper – Jimmy Harris, Room 312 – This class let’s couples explore romance and setting expectations, dealing with commitment, friendship, passion, learning what to love and what to hate, abiding in Jesus without sucking the life out of each other, and how to renew habits and do a family make over.
"According to the Pew Research Centers findings, 44% of Americans under the age of 30 believe marriage is heading for extinction. In 1960 nearly 70 percent of Americans took the plunge; now only about half that number, and eight times as many kids ar born out of wedlock. (TIME/Pew Survey). Christian marriages are failing at a high rate between 40-50%. The recent Supreme court ruling on the definition of marriage has shown just how far our culture has shifted away from the word of God. In fact, 60-75% of youth are leaving the church after they leave home. Only 1 in 4 Christian teens share their parents core beliefs. Something has to change at the fundamental level if we are going to hand off our faith to the next generation."
